Fan Tan Quick Guide
Fan Tan, also known as fancan tan, is an ancient Chinese gambling game that has been enjoyed for centuries in China. It is completely random, and players don't need to use any strategy or skill. It also features the same lack of sophistication seen in modern casino gambling games. It's a lot of fun and you get to spend some time doing what interests you.
The rules of this card-game are simple and easy. The player is given 52 cards and then chooses two cards to face up. The deck also contains two other cards. The two suits Tiger and Water represent the planets that orbit the star cluster Sol in the constellations.
Each player receives two cards face-up at the beginning of the game. Each player can then place as many cards as they wish on their betting board, starting at one and ending at seven. The first card that is dealt is the King. This card is the strongest card in a pack and therefore the most valuable. Players may bet in favour of the King and lose all their money if it lands on a seven. If no cards land on sevens during the session, then the dealer will reveal them. The player will only lose the first card that they reveal.
After the second card has been dealt, the dealer starts the game with the last card known as the Queen. The Queen can be bet by the players based on their knowledge. It can be either golden red, black, or blue. However, the cards will be dealt in the middle of the table. To convert cards from one suit to another, players can remove cards. For example, aces can be converted to kings or vice versa while jacks can be converted to queens.
If a player wishes to change a card he's just dealt, all the players must consult and then take turns. The dealer will announce that the time has passed and that it is time to blind fold fan-tan. Fan Tan is played with the cards laid face down on the table. After the fan-tan ends and everyone has folded it, the dealer will tell players that it's over and that the blind fold card is now available.
In the meantime, all the other players have to get their hands on the cards facing up. The dealer will ask the player which card he would like to choose from the two piles. The dealer will ask that the player choose one card from each of the piles. Next, the player must pass his hand to another player, who will then choose a card the same as the previous player. Each player will continue this process until he is done. Once all cards have been laid out in the same way, the dealer will announce that the dealt card has been revealed. Now the player must announce that he has chosen a card from either one of the two piles or that he has revealed his hand.
After all the reveal rounds, Fan Tan will resume and players will select the cards they wish to discard. The player who has discarded the cards the fastest is the first to reveal their cards. The person who got the most cards after that has to reveal his cards and the person with the least cards has to eliminate them. If the player with most cards discarded them then the player with less cards can continue and choose another player to keep their cards.
If a player throws away any cards but not the others, the last person who has his cards must reveal them. Fan Tan plays with sevens, the ace-of-swords being his most common card. It is used most often in weddings and other events such as engagement parties, birthday parties, and anniversary parties.
